As Yan Liguang skimmed the arrest warrant, the officer explained, "You are charged with embezzlement of public funds and involvement in a murder case of Mo Wenxing."
Upon hearing this, Yan Liguang’s expression twisted in shock as he shouted, "I didn’t do it! I was framed!"
Ignoring his protests, one of the officers approached him with handcuffs while saying, "You can save your defense for the trial. Anything you say now can and will be used against you."
"No! Let me go! I’m innocent!" Yan Liguang shouted and struggled against the officer.
"You better behave, otherwise we will use force!" the officer said with a frown.
Despite his resistance, the officer skillfully cuffed him. As he continued to yell and flail, the officers chose not to conceal the handcuffs, instead they dragged him to the building’s entrance.
By the time they exited the office building, news of his arrest had already spread in the Yan Corporation’s internal forum. As both chairman and CEO, his detainment quickly became a hot topic between the employees.
Outside the building, a swarm of reporters awaited him after having received a tip-off from an unknown resource. The moment they saw him, they frantically snapped pictures while shouting. The flash of the camera blinded Yan Liguang, who covered his face with his arms, revealing the handcuffs.
The police blocked the reporter and shouted, "Get out of the way!"
