The guard was flattered when he saw the cookies inside the bag and said, "Miss Yan, this– I can’t accept it."
"These are just some cookies I made when I was bored. Don’t be polite with me," Yan Yuling said and put the bag in the guard’s hand.
After Yan Yuling shared the cookies, she waved at him before she entered the elevator. Su Xueli saw what was happening just now and approached the guard. Standing in front of the guard, she demanded, "Open the gate."
Unmoved by her tone, the guard replied, "I’m sorry, Miss. You need a visitor’s pass. Please register at the reception to get your pass."
Su Xueli removed her sunglasses and asked with raised eyebrows, "Old man, do you know who I am? How dare you stop me."
The guard looked at her and calmly replied, "I’m sorry, Miss. These are the company’s rules. To enter the office, you need a visitor pass. Please register your name first."
Feeling angry due to the humiliation, Su Xueli pointed to the elevator and protested, "Why should I register when that woman was allowed inside?"
