My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon

Chapter 16: It

Humans by instinct fear what they didn't understand. Thus the less something made sense the more one grew terrified of it.

"Oy! There's a Worker Ant core behind you! MOVE NOW!" a woman shouted.

"BUT—"

"LISTEN TO ME! It doesn't care about us! Just don't stand in its way! Students, gather at the center!"

A male teacher took a deep breath, stood up beside Tessa, and shouted, "Listen to Ms. Potts, everyone! She's the only reason none of us are dead yet! Keep it together! WE ARE ALL GOING HOME ALIVE! YOU HEAR ME?"

"YES!"

Inspired by the two teachers, the trembling humans moved. They ran, limped—some even crawled. Though the day had been hell, miraculously, everyone was still alive.

At least, that's what they thought.

Elian caught the word—it.

No one corrected her.

Not even him.
