Chapter 2470: The plight of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe
In front of Cain floated three pieces of armor.
Along with the two fragments his first Blood Avatar had gathered, he now possessed almost everything needed to cover both of his arms. The metallic pieces hovered quietly in the air, ready to be assembled.
"If I had the fragment held by the Dark Blood King, I would possess every piece of the Sacred Treasure that landed in the Dark Blood Realm."
A dangerous, cold light appeared in Cain’s eyes as the thought crossed his mind. For a brief instant, the possibility of taking it by force took shape.
But just as quickly, he dismissed the idea.
He had grown stronger—there was no doubt about that. Yet he had not forgotten the overwhelming pressure of the Dark Blood King’s Ancestor Domain. That was not a force he could challenge yet, and recklessness would only lead to ruin.
Without wasting time, Cain collected the three fragments, storing them carefully. However, he made sure to keep each piece separated.
Once the fragments of the Sacred Treasure fused with their corresponding parts, they would unleash their true power. Cain had no intention of triggering such a transformation while he was still inside the Dark Blood Realm. He had no idea what kind of reaction it might cause.
It could be subtle... or it could erupt with such intensity that every powerful being in the realm would immediately sense that someone had gathered the pieces.
That was a risk he could not afford.
After ensuring that no one was observing him, Cain silently returned to the Dark Blood Kingdom and merged back into the position of his afterimage. The transition was seamless, and to any watcher, it appeared as though he had never moved at all.
The rest of the night passed peacefully.
