Despite the severity of the injury, the man regained control of his body almost immediately. He forced himself upright and adopted a battle stance, his gaze locking onto the figure standing in the distance.
There he was.
A young man with blazing scarlet eyes and sky-blue plasma wings radiating the power of time. He wore a full suit of armor, and in his hand rested a black sword wrapped in white flames.
