Chapter 2453: The fate of Paradise’s Depravita Race
At the heart of the Dark Blood Kingdom’s capital, inside a vast hall illuminated by a ceiling that shimmered like a star-filled sky, the War Council was taking place.
Despite being large enough to host more than a hundred people, only six Royal Blutliline were present. They sat around a massive circular table carved from dark crystal, its surface smooth as a mirror.
Although the table had no head, none of those present entertained any illusion of equality. The balance of power in the room was clear, and one group held far more weight than the others.
On the southern side were three seats.
One of them was occupied by a man with a scarred face whose presence felt like an endless ocean—deep, heavy, and suffocating. The Heartcram King sat silently, his posture rigid, his aura steady and oppressive.
Opposite to him sat a woman whose skin was so pale that it seemed almost devoid of color. She was not particularly tall and even appeared fragile at first glance, but the power radiating from her body was immense and chilling, like the quiet cold of eternal night.
Between the two sat a young man with flaming scarlet eyes. Each breath he took seemed subtly synchronized with the world around him, as if the laws of reality themselves were moving in rhythm with his existence.
Cain glanced briefly at the Heartcram King, but the man did not return the look. His attention soon shifted to the pale woman, and a thoughtful, meaningful light appeared in his eyes.
"So she is the last of the five kings who ruled the Dark Blood Realm before my arrival...
Alucar, ruler of the Evernight Kingdom.
She might even be stronger than the Heartcram King."
The woman noticed Cain’s gaze. She looked at him for a brief moment, her eyes calm and unreadable, before turning forward again.
