Chapter 2347: The opening of the Eternity Gate
The battlefield fell into stunned silence as dust and violent energy surged from the canyon forged by Cain’s attack.
Origin Island’s rules and laws were unimaginably durable. Even when more than two dozen Alpha–Omega Overgods fought with pure killing intent, the destruction they unleashed remained heavily restrained by the island’s framework.
Yet Cain’s attack had carved a massive canyon straight through it, a wound so deep and vast that it spoke volumes about the terrifying destructive nature of obsidian energy.
"It might be even stronger than the EndSphere from my Primordial Body."
The thought crossed Cain’s mind, drawing a wide, confident smile to his face. Still, he did not allow himself to be distracted. He knew the battle was far from over.
It did not take long for the Ancient One to emerge from the crater.
His body was badly wounded, flesh torn and burned in multiple places, yet his eye showed no sign of surrender or fear. Slowly, deliberately, he turned his gaze toward the shadow sphere. The sphere trembled violently as he channeled its power into himself, drawing upon it without restraint.
The Neo-Angels screamed in agony as that power came from them.
Their pain meant nothing to the Ancient One. Their lives were irrelevant. The only thing that mattered was the surge of power coursing through his body, flooding every vein and bone.
His back convulsed.
From his spine—right between his white plasma wings—massive tentacles erupted. Each one was covered in grotesque eyes and engraved with horrifying sealing runes. They writhed violently before growing larger and larger, transforming into monstrous serpents formed of shadow and authority.
Then they lunged toward Cain.
