The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1809: Jackals chasing a wounded lion

When the Prima Deities first saw the Abyssal Wall erected by Cain, they were briefly surprised at such an ingenious manipulation of destructive energy. Nevertheless, cold smiles filled with murderous intent quickly returned to their faces, convinced that no matter how sturdy this barrier was, it would inevitably crumble under their combined barrage of explosive attacks.

Unfortunately for them, they had severely underestimated the true capabilities of the Abyssal Wall.

As the flood of devastating attacks collided with the barrier, it didn’t merely resist—it reflected their strikes right back at them! Shock and horror quickly replaced the Prima Deities’ confidence, their eyes widening in terror as they witnessed their own destructive energy rebound toward them like a tidal wave of annihilation.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!"

A catastrophic explosion erupted, illuminating the sky and swallowing the battlefield in blinding brilliance. Chaos ensued as the Prima Deities struggled desperately to shield themselves from the immense backlash. Cries of agony echoed from every direction as many were violently thrown back, barely managing to withstand the crushing force of their own reflected attacks.

The Star Man’s senses sharpened drastically, his body taut and ready as he tightened his grip around his spear, fully expecting Cain to immediately follow up with another devastating strike. His eyes scanned vigilantly, certain he would be the primary target.

Yet, to everyone’s astonishment, no such attack came.

Confusion spread rapidly among the ranks of the Prima Deities as they glanced around uncertainly, searching for their opponent. It was then that their eyes locked onto a sight that seemed utterly impossible.

Cain—the seemingly unstoppable Neo-Demon who had decimated their comrades mere moments ago—was now fleeing. Gone was the dark metallic luster that embodied his previously overwhelming destructive aura. No longer did his heartbeat echo like the unending hammer of war. Instead, Cain appeared weakened, blood leaking profusely from every orifice on his face, clearly indicating that the backlash of unleashing such immense power had finally overwhelmed him.
