Tiamat’s eyes narrowed with curiosity as she heard Cain’s unexpected request. Interest flickered in her ancient gaze, and she gestured subtly for the Neo-Demon to continue explaining his intentions.
Cain held a steady gaze, voice firm and confident.
"I only need enough Origin Power for a single Divine Kingdom. In exchange for the second portion, I want unrestricted access to your dungeons and prisons, freedom to do whatever I wish with the prisoners confined there, and two ArchDeity techniques."
A cold and ruthless smile appeared on Cain’s face, leaving no ambiguity about the grim fate awaiting those prisoners. It was clear to all that none of those people would say the light of day again if they let the Neo-Demon into their cages.
Tiamat could not suppress a slight frown upon hearing his ruthless demands. Her existence had stretched over countless eons, and throughout that expansive life, many had inevitably crossed her. Usually, she dealt swift judgment, eliminating her enemies quickly.
However, certain unique cases demanded imprisonment, especially when dealing with cultivators who possessed Divine Kingdoms. If a cultivator with a Divine Kingdom died, they would inevitably resurrect as long as their True Name remained intact. Thus, imprisonment was often the only long-term solution.
In any other circumstance, Tiamat would have instantly refused such a request, as it would draw the wrath of many important figures. But now the Dragon Empress was preparing for war, specifically an Eternal War that would affect the entire Second Realm, and every resource, every asset, must be utilized strategically. She knew there was little point in wasting further resources on prisoners who held no future value to her.
After careful consideration, Tiamat finally nodded, though her eyes retained their sharpened edge.
"Very well, I agree, but you may choose only one ArchDeity Technique. Each one is priceless beyond measure—I cannot simply hand them out so casually."
