Chapter 1675: A vast sea of evil treasures

This was an extraordinarily fortunate opportunity for Alucard. Obtaining the help of a Prima Genetic Coder was very hard even for someone of his exalted status. Furthermore, getting such a master to conceal his son’s hybrid nature was entirely unfeasible, as it required exposing his greatest secret. Only someone as uniquely positioned as Cain could be entrusted with this delicate task.

Without wasting a single breath, Alucard immediately vanished from the residence, returning less than three seconds later with Leorio held firmly by his side.

The sudden movement left the Atrox-Human hybrid thoroughly confused. One moment, Leorio had been deeply immersed in training, and the next, he stood bewildered inside his father’s personal chambers. Moreover, directly before him stood a figure whose face he recognized all too well.

There was no possibility of Leorio forgetting the Godslayer Human who had defeated him so decisively just a few short years prior—especially given the shocking news that had followed soon after, shaking the entire Empyrean World: Cain Laurifer, now known universally as “The Monster.”

“Bow, brat!” Alucard’s sharp command snapped Leorio from his stunned stupor.

Instantly, Leorio bowed deeply, his voice steady yet deferential as he greeted respectfully, “I humbly greet the Scarlet King.”

Although Leorio was significantly older than Cain, age mattered little in this world. The only thing truly commanding respect was power, and Cain’s strength vastly exceeded his own.

Cain nodded slightly in acknowledgment before stepping forward and placing a hand gently yet firmly against Leorio’s chest. Instantly, Cain’s eyes burned with intense red flames, their glow piercing into Leorio’s core. Within moments, Cain grasped the Leviathan Shadow deeply integrated within the young man’s heart and skillfully extracted it.

Leorio’s face paled as the Leviathan Shadow was removed. Though the process caused no physical or spiritual harm, the loss still resonated deeply within him, leaving him with a hollow, empty sensation.
