The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1670: Visiting friends

Chapter 1670: Visiting friends

It didn’t take Cain long to complete the Tribulation Enhancement for everyone inside the Gu Sect.

The faces of the men and women at the Divine Realm revealed exactly what they were feeling—pure exhilaration. Their eyes glowed with fierce excitement, as waves of newly-awakened strength surged through their veins. They were about to march into an enormous war, and there was simply no better feeling than growing stronger at such a crucial juncture.

Cain’s authoritative voice resonated clearly, penetrating directly into the minds of Pation, Lancer, and Karter.

“Finish the preparations and have them ready to march. I will return in five days and open a portal directly into the Sea of Misfortune.”

After delivering these instructions, Cain swiftly departed from the sect, his presence vanishing into thin air.

Without wasting a second, the trio immediately left their cultivation abode, materializing in the sky high above the sect. Exchanging meaningful glances, the Inferno Daemon, the Godslayer Human, and the Deus Behemoth nodded solemnly to each other before diving into action.

They began swiftly and decisively organizing their armies, setting troops in formation, preparing their weapons, sharpening armor, and stocking critical supplies such as potions, spiritual herbs, and cultivation resources.

As the entire Gu Sect sprang into action, something truly astonishing was quietly unfolding, unnoticed by all involved. Members of the Light and Dark Races were working together seamlessly, without hesitation or hostility.

The Gu Sect had always permitted the coexistence of the two factions, but historically, their interaction had been minimal at best. Previously, they merely tolerated each other’s presence without ever genuinely mixing, let alone fighting alongside one another.

Yet, now, they were cooperating as if their divisions had never existed. What was even more remarkable was that none found this unity unusual or forced.

This phenomenon wasn’t the result of Cain’s intentional manipulation or psychological strategy, as he did not have the time to put in place such maneuvers yet. Instead, it stemmed from something deeper, subtler, and more profound—an ethereal force that Cain himself had yet to fully comprehend or even acknowledge.
