Chapter 1620: Aether’s evolution
With everything taken care of, Cain waved his hand, generating a new portal. “This will leave you in the void close to the Everlife Continent. Do not go near the Nightmare Kingdom. Among the faction leaders, only the Night Prince remains unaccounted for, so I am sure that the Patriarchs of the Gu Sect are keeping a close eye on his home. As a matter of fact, it is better if you head straight into the Golde Star Kingdom. ”
The Sky Sovereign nodded respectfully to Cain. While there were treasures he could exploit and relations he could take advanced from the Nightmare Kingdom, it was not worth the risk of drawing the attention of Prima Deity. After all, his mission required absolute secrecy, and everything would go to waste if Cain was forced to save him.
After performing a deep bow, the Sky Sovereign stepped through the portal and vanished from the Gu World.
Cain was completely alone in the Gu World now, though that solitude was short-lived. He took a deep breath, and immediately afterward, a vast sea of Ego Wave erupted from his form, rippling through the surroundings.
It swiftly consolidated a few meters before Cain, coalescing into a perfect duplicate of himself. The aura radiating from this clone was so overwhelmingly potent it seemed capable of effortlessly defeating even Peak Divine Transcendence Masters.
Cain and his clone exchanged a glance, acknowledging their mutual understanding. “This should be sufficient to control the defenses and cloaking capabilities of the Gu World, ensuring no one can locate or access it before my return.”
With everything now securely arranged, Cain took another steadying breath and vanished from the Gu World, instantly reappearing in the endless void. His gaze swept across the boundless expanse, perceiving nothing but violent waves of chaotic energy surging through the emptiness. However, thanks to the memories he inherited from Reverend Madness, Cain knew precisely where the Gu World resided.
“Its cloaking abilities are even more advanced than those of the World Veil,” Cain remarked to himself. “I suppose it makes sense; after all, when Reverend Madness crafted it, he was an Archdeity.”
Cain confidently nodded, reassured of his course, before surging forward. Space itself seemed to tear apart in his wake as he effortlessly cleaved through spatial storms and turbulent energy waves, pushing toward his destination with astounding speed.
After only a brief interval, Cain reached the concealed location of Aether and swiftly passed into it.
“RUMBLE!!!”
A deep rumbling reverberated throughout the world the very instant Cain entered its boundaries, causing him to frown momentarily. He had deliberately suppressed his overwhelming energy to avoid harming Aether’s fabric of reality.
