Zirun knew he could not dodge them since that would reduce his momentum, so he clenched his fists and sent strikes against the arcs of sonic energy, shattering them as he pushed forward. The man used every ounce of strength as he grew closer to the Scarlet King.

Just as Zirun was about to get within ten meters of the Scarlet King, his eyes widened as he felt he crashed against an invisible object.
