Chapter 11: Lineage
Cain woke up the next day and immediately noticed that something had changed. A surging strength ran through his body, and some of his senses worked exceptionally well.
The youth went to his bathroom and was shocked by the picture in the mirror. He was five centimeters taller, had larger muscles, and his eyes turned blue.
“Your ugly face won’t change no matter how much you look at it.”
Apex’s voice woke Cain up. He took a deep breath and called for the system with a mixture of nervousness and excitement.
Since he had awoken a bloodline, his Wave Talent should have changed. As for how much it did, that was the mystery he was about to solve.
“System, scan!”
