Chapter 1376: Wind and Moon
Clyde Summers didn’t immediately go looking for Atra Blanc.
After all, at a young age, it’s hard to avoid being indecisive when experiencing the first stirrings of love.
He went to see her secretly a few times, thinking that if the timing was right, he could talk to her, but alas, luck wasn’t on his side.
Every time, Atra Blanc was either accompanied by a family member or a colleague. When she was at home, she stayed shut in, and at the hospital, she was so busy that she barely had a moment to herself. Clyde couldn’t find a chance to get close.
This went on for six or seven days until Clyde was called by Blondie and the others to the video room to watch a movie.
He actually had all this viewing equipment at home, and it was more advanced, imported from overseas, allowing him to watch whatever he wanted. Coming over today was just to join in the fun.
The movie’s title was "The Golden Lotus Twins," and just from the name, you could guess what it was about. However, back then, there was an artsy term for it — an adult film.
A group of boys squeezed into the tiny room, forgetting to spit out the melon seed shells from their mouths during the exciting parts. The air reeked of smoke, sweat, and a musty dampness — an unpleasant mix, yet oddly fitting given the surroundings.
Blondie kicked the big-headed guy sitting in front of him, "Put your shoes on, it stinks."
"My feet don’t stink, someone must’ve farted, right?"
