Allen Rivera wouldn’t lie to her, Jane McCain knew this very well.
It was because she knew so well that she was utterly shocked! She almost jumped up, clutching her phone. Allen had arrived!
Jane forgot to even put on her coat, running out of the room quickly and changing her shoes at the door.
"Janie? We’re about to have dinner. Where are you going?" Ruby Spencer asked.
Jane was both excited and embarrassed, "My... my boyfriend seems to be here."
Everyone was taken aback, staring at her in surprise.
"You silly girl, if he’s here, he’s here. What do you mean ’seems to be’?" Ruby Spencer looked at Jane with skepticism. "Where is he?"
Jane was nervous and couldn’t say explicitly, so she replied ambiguously, "I’ll go down and check..."
With that, unable to wait, she slipped on her shoes and hurried out.
While waiting for the elevator, she received a message from Allen Rivera: it was a photo. There was pristine white snow in the photo, with a fish drawn in the snow, along with a few "blades of grass."
