Chapter 1276
The dishes brought were two meat dishes and two vegetable dishes. Allen Rivera really enjoyed them and almost ate them all.
The other colleagues in the office weren’t so lucky. Their overtime meals had to be sorted out in the cafeteria of the Prosecutor’s Office.
After dinner, everyone continued working overtime. Like yesterday, Jane McCain took out her tablet and snacks, watching cartoons to pass the time.
She had only watched one episode when Allen Rivera finished his work.
Jane McCain glanced at the time; it wasn’t too late to get off work today.
She happily followed Allen Rivera out of the office and into the car, suddenly remembering something: Since they had already had dinner, what should they do now?
Surely, they wouldn’t just go home separately...
Allen Rivera obviously realized this issue too.
Sitting in the driver’s seat, he thought for a moment and then turned his head to Jane McCain, asking, "Shall we go to the movies?"
"Sure." Jane McCain responded without hesitation.
