As the commotion began, all the customers in the shop turned their attention to it.
In response, the nobleman furrowed his brows, showing his displeasure. “These lowly... Who do you think you’re looking at?”
“We’ll handle it. Everyone, look away.”
The knights, who appeared to be his guards, slightly showed their gleaming blades to intimidate the customers.
Frightened by the menacing presence, everyone turned their heads to stare at the menu or fiddled nervously with their spoons and forks.
“A-ahem...”
“The menu is...”
Even Rashya tugged on Helik’s sleeve with a troubled expression. “H-Helik. They look dangerous, so stop staring at them...”
“It’s fine. What can they possibly do? I govern the one who governs this land.” Helik shrugged confidently and continued watching the scene unfold.
As the other customers trembled in fear, the noble looked down at the boy collapsed on the floor with a satisfied expression. “I despise people like you. How dare someone as lowly as you be called a noble? It’s unbearable to me.”
The boy on the floor said nothing as he quietly began gathering the shattered pieces of the plates.
