"Don’t worry, everyone. I won’t abandon you," Gu Fan reassured them, quickly offering his promise and encouragement.
But Lu Yi chose the absolute worst moment to chime in: "Brother, sneaking in is already tough. You want to rescue someone, but do you even know where Leng Feng is being held?"
"Uh..." Gu Fan hesitated, clearly unable to answer, looking visibly awkward.
Lu Yi pressed further, "And even if you’re freakishly lucky and manage to find Leng Feng, then rescue him, are you confident you can do all of this without alerting the enemy?"
"Uh..." Gu Fan was still unable to answer, feeling the mounting pressure.
