Chapter 1593: The Incident of Anger
It’s been quite a while, and everyone inside the old house was anxiously waiting. Everyone was less worried about Gu Fan being in danger than they were concerned about him doing something outrageous.
Finally, the door opened and Gu Fan returned. As soon as he stepped inside, he saw everyone’s astonished faces.
Lu Yi spoke first: "My God, man, you’re finally back. Do you have any idea how worried we were?"
"Sorry for coming back late and making everyone anxious," Gu Fan said with an ease that made it seem as if he had just done something trivial.
Su Hui furrowed her brow, her expression growing solemn. She took a step forward and everyone made way, feeling that it was most fitting for Su Hui to question Gu Fan.
"Where did you go? What did you do? Don’t tell me you went looking for trouble with those big shots," Su Hui’s questions were tinged with displeasure, as if warning Gu Fan not to give her an answer she didn’t want to hear.
In response to this, Gu Fan merely smiled faintly: "That’s right, I did seek out the number three and happened to run into the number five as well. So I told them we should get along peacefully; you don’t mess with me, and I won’t mess with you. Additionally, regarding Hai’s matter, I don’t want a second occurrence. As compensation, they must provide the medicine to Jie without charge, otherwise Organization X can do whatever they did back then, and so can I."
On hearing this, everyone exchanged looks. Although Gu Fan made it sound simple, the process seemed to have been far more harrowing than he described.
"What happened after that?" Everyone was more concerned about what happened next.
