Helen obviously came to find Gu Fan, but her expression carried some guilt and embarrassment, as if she didn’t know how to face Gu Fan.

But since she was already here, Helen still mustered up the courage to speak, "I know after everything that happened, you probably don’t want to see me, but the situation is really urgent now."

Gu Fan nodded, "Don’t overthink it, that matter has nothing to do with you."

Hearing this, Helen let out a sigh of relief, feeling much more relaxed, and then continued, "I came to you today on behalf of a completely new Organization X, asking for your help to eliminate all threats."

Gu Fan frowned and looked back at Lin Yue, who seemed just as puzzled about what this so-called new Organization X was.

Helen explained that she, Xue Lang, and others had long parted ways with Xue Wang, roughly meaning Helen was planning to strike out on her own.

Gu Fan thought this was a good thing; he also hoped Helen could leave Organization X as soon as possible.

However, things were not that simple. Organization X’s resources around the world were all under the command of Xue Wang, and Helen could only claim one-tenth of them, making her so-called independence very hard to develop.

Furthermore, Xue Wang would not allow Helen to set up her own faction, and so she was suppressed. If it weren’t for the fact that Organization X had been dealt a heavy blow and its strength reduced, Xue Wang might have already come charging over with a large force by now.

This was a difficult situation. Gu Fan pondered for a while before guessing why Helen came to him, probably hoping that Gu Fan would help take down Xue Wang.

Lin Yue was still worried, fearing that after they went through tremendous effort to take down Xue Wang, Organization X would become another scourge under Helen’s leadership.
