"I had the opportunity to rediscover my emotions, but sadly I missed it," lamented Xue Lang, quickening his pace to continue on his way.
On the way to the rendezvous point, Xue Lang encountered another vampire, who was also heeding the call, knowing fully well the perilous odds yet still stiffening his resolve to return.
The other vampire saw Xue Lang and approached him, his expression somewhat fearful: "What do we do, Xue Lang? If we go back to fight the enemy, I’m afraid we might not escape..."
