"Alright, let’s go. They are a couple, and you’re the third wheel. What’s the point of staying?" Leng Le swiftly pulled Li Shi away, eager to escape this place.
Li Shi still looked back and couldn’t help but sigh; she was not only superfluous but truly unable to offer any help.
Afterward, Li Shi and Leng Le headed towards the secret passage. Along the way, Li Shi was curious and wanted to know what was happening to Gu Fan - whether he was in any danger.
Leng Le told Li Shi not to worry too much, as Gu Fan was not only alright but would actually be even better off.
This surprised Li Shi. If that were the case, why did Lin Xi look so solemn, as if she were deeply concerned?

"It’s you!" Su Hui immediately became alert and treated Leng Le like an enemy.
Leng Le hurriedly explained that she was now on Gu Fan’s side and also informed Su Hui about Gu Fan’s current situation.
Su Hui found it hard to believe. Could it be that Gu Fan was about to obtain perfect eternal life? Wasn’t that a good thing? Why did Leng Le look so pessimistic, or was it because she couldn’t stand seeing her ex-boyfriend, Gu Fan, improve?
