Those Classmates who Suddenly Disappeared

Late at night, in the warehouse, some members of Organization X were fast asleep, completely unconcerned about Li Shi’s current condition.

Li Shi was tied to a chair, her eyes blindfolded, her stomach rumbling with hunger. She felt very uncomfortable, as she had never suffered such hardship since she was a child, and she had no idea when such days would end.

Suddenly, a loud noise shattered the silence, and all the members of Organization X were startled awake and rushed out cursing.

Li Shi also heard the commotion and felt very nervous, unsure of what had happened. Then, she heard numerous people screaming—a sound worse than slaughtering pigs, as if some massacre was occurring.

A little later, it quieted down outside, the battle stopped, and then Li Shi heard footsteps approaching, immediately making her heart race even faster, as fear reached an extreme.

"Don’t be afraid, I’m here to save you," a strange voice said, seemingly intentionally lowered, but Li Shi still recognized it, "Gu Fan, is that you?"

"Man, you could even recognize that?" Gu Fan could only give a dry laugh, then added, "Alright, old classmate, you’re safe now, but you have to listen to me, don’t take off the blindfold, don’t be curious to look around, trust me, there are some things better not known."

Li Shi nodded, "Okay, I understand."

Then Gu Fan unlocked the shackles on Li Shi’s wrists and ankles and helped her up, leading her away.
