Chapter 1048: I Have a Younger Brother
Upon reaching the doorstep, Gu Fan noticed some movement inside the house. Puzzled, he wondered, "Sister Su went to training today, Xiaoling is staying at her parents’, and Helen isn’t here either. Who could it be?"
With curiosity and excitement, Gu Fan pushed the door open and saw a graceful figure bustling in the kitchen. On closer look, it truly was Lin Xi.
"No way, Miss Lin is personally cooking today. I feel like this place has been graced with her presence," Gu Fan joked, then wrapped his arms around Lin Xi from behind.
Lin Xi was in the midst of cooking and said somewhat annoyed, "Alright, stop it. It’s not like you haven’t had enough hugs. Go wash your hands quickly."
"How could it ever be enough? A lifetime wouldn’t be enough," Gu Fan appeared to be very clingy. He planted a kiss on Lin Xi’s beautiful face and then contently went to wash his hands.
After Gu Fan washed his hands and saw a table full of delicious food, he couldn’t resist starting to eat a little. He was immediately amazed and exclaimed, "My goodness, Lin Xi, you’re competent both in the hall and the kitchen. Your cooking skills have improved."
"Of course," Lin Xi replied, propping her chin on one hand and smiling at Gu Fan as if to say, "If you like it so much, go ahead and eat a bit more."
Gu Fan obviously understood the implication and didn’t leave Lin Xi disappointed; he really finished all the food she had made.
Just as Gu Fan was thinking of doing something, Lin Xi said, "Leave it, don’t touch it. I’ll wash."
