Chapter 992: Never Admit Defeat
Above the platform, the situation reversed, and Jin Yi danced with blade and sword, doubling his defense and intercepting all of the leader of Xuanjian Sect’s attacks, then seizing a flaw to counterattack with equal ferocity.
"How can this be, his power hasn’t increased, but his moves are more refined and harder to decipher," the leader of Xuanjian Sect, struck by a blade, felt his face burn with shame, grinding his teeth in hatred.

The leader of Xuanjian Sect was forced to retreat step by step, unable to even think of counterattacking. His defenses were breached several times, and had he not dodged swiftly, he would have suffered several wounds by now.

"What!" The leader of Xuanjian Sect grabbed the blade and sword with one hand while slamming the other onto Jin Yi’s body, the overwhelming force nearly shattering him from within.
Jin Yi was severely injured, blood spurting wildly as he was sent flying, no longer able to grip his weapons.
The leader of Xuanjian Sect was not much better off; struck by the blade and sword, he bled from his wounds and struggled greatly to stem his own bleeding, his complexion poor.
