Chapter 854: Reconciled
Qian Ye reclined comfortably on the lounge chair, soaking in the warmth of the sun and taking a sip of tea while enjoying the afternoon, then said indifferently, "I didn’t expect that you, a traitor, would dare to come to me on your own initiative. You really have some nerve."
"Big sister, I was wrong before, please forgive me," Qian Ye said, maintaining her smile, then added, "You used the hibernation pods to arrive at this time, and I used the space-time door to get to this era. I believe it’s fate that lets us get together again in a new era."
Upon hearing this, Qian Feng was slightly stunned, seemingly feeling it was their sisterly bond as well, but she maintained her composure and said, "Yes, it’s destiny’s arrangement, to settle our past grudges clearly and to make you pay for your betrayal."
Qian Ye didn’t panic; she was very calm, "Maybe this arrangement by the heavens has another meaning, giving us a chance to put all those unpleasantness and grudges behind us and start anew in this brand-new era."
Qian Feng was taken aback for a moment, then gazed at Qian Ye seriously, with gradually increasing complexity in her eyes. It seemed like she wanted to forgive Qian Ye, desired reconciliation, but she also felt it wasn’t right.
"Qian Ye, the moment you betrayed us, you deeply hurt all of your sisters’ hearts. You can’t just say a few words and expect us to forgive you." Qian Feng’s expression was stern, a clear sign that she was demanding accountability.
To this, Qian Ye nodded, "Big sister, I know I betrayed you, it was my fault. I’m not asking for your forgiveness; I’m just hoping you’ll give me a chance to make amends, to do something and repair our sisterly bond."
Qian Feng narrowed her eyes, emitting a chill, "Do you think I would forgive you after your betrayal?"
"I don’t know about the others, but I believe in our sisterhood. Think of all the hardship we’ve been through since we were young, supporting each other. I’ve suffered injuries for you, and you’ve undergone hardships for me. Our feelings can’t be so fragile. We’ve argued and gotten mad at each other, but we never thought of giving up on one another."
