"Yes, I should thank her." David stated stubbornly, seeming unchangeable in his conviction.

Gu Fan decided to push further: "The reason Qian Ye wanted to destroy the space-time door was because she didn’t want to return to the past, and the reason she’s in the present is thanks to me and Lin Xi, should you not then also thank me and Lin Xi?"

Making a connection that seemed quite far-fetched, Su Hui and Leng Le looked at Gu Fan with contemptuous eyes.
