She intended to lead an attack on Miyue Country by traversing the primordial forest and staging a surprise attack, and she hoped to use this opportunity to have the townspeople guide her through the forest as a way of repaying the favor.

Lin Xi also advised the townspeople to ally with Miyue Country, aiding them in setting a trap for her and her army. This way, the townspeople could earn Miyue Country’s trust and be spared.
