"That’s alright?" The hope on Qian Ye’s face briefly flashed before quickly returning to its initial calm facade.

However, Gu Fan had his doubts: "There’s something I don’t understand. First, there’s Qian Feng here who’s out to settle a score with you. If you’re severely exhausted, there’s no possible way you could be a match for Qian Feng. Staying here would only increase your risk. Why haven’t you considered returning to the past instead?"

Just as Qian Ye began to channel her supernatural power, preparing to ambush Gu Fan, she suddenly heard Gu Ling shouting, "Brother, watch out behind you!"
