As soon as he returned to the city where he lived, Gu Fan hadn’t even warmed his couch when he saw Qian Ye push the door open in a huff, then sit down. Gu Fan was also helpless. "I have no choice. Taking care of you costs money. My private stash and the funds saved to court my wife have all been spent on you, so I had to go out and earn money. Please quickly, tell me what happened."
Qian Ye, not willing to discuss it, rubbed his temple before he said, "I spent last night at Lin Xi’s home. As per your instructions, I talked less, did more. Whatever Lin Xi’s parents said, I followed."
