"Damn it!" The boss quickly rubbed his eyes. He was furious.
"Safe for now!" Gu Fan grabbed Liu Yao’s hand and bolted. He knew they couldn’t outrun the boss, who had a speed beyond any average person.
With his vision blurred, the boss could barely make out the fleeing figures of Gu Fan and Liu Yao. Enraged, he shouted, "Run all you want, I’ll catch up in no time and you will pay dearly."
"Not if I can help it," replied Gu Fan, messaging as he spoke.
Liu Yao, following behind Gu Fan, dared not look back. The mere thought of the boss’s murderous look terrified her. She couldn’t help but complain, "Gu Fan, this time you’re going to get me killed!"
"Ha ha, a miscalculation on my side. I underestimated his cool judgement. If not for Liu Yao’s timely intervention, I would have been a goner," Gu Fan admitted, a wave of fear passing over him.
