After investigating, Ning Qi’s car was parked at the villa every night. It was almost certain that Ning Qi was living there, although the house was registered under a man’s name.
Gu Fan speculated that the house was provided by a man who adored Ning Qi as a temporary residence in the city. Perhaps, the man even wished that this temporary residence would become Ning Qi’s permanent home.
Knowing where Ning Qi resided, the next step was to decide what to do. Whether Qian Ying also lived in that villa needed to be monitored further.
Unsure of the situation inside the villa, everyone dared not act recklessly for fear of alarming potential suspects. Now that they knew where Ning Qi was, they had shifted from being passive to active.
Lin Xi didn’t believe that Qian Ying would stay in the villa all the time without leaving. So, she made a call to Du Jun, asking him to send someone to keep an eye on the villa discretely, especially taking photos of everyone entering and leaving the villa.
Next, they just had to wait for news. Everyone carried on attending classes as usual.
"Qian Ying, oh Qian Ying, I had my hands tied earlier because of Big Sister but now that you’ve initiated trouble, don’t blame me for being unkind." Lin Xi walked along the campus road, mulling over her thoughts when she was suddenly hugged from behind. Startled briefly, she then felt a familiar sensation and couldn’t help but laugh, "This is a school, aren’t you afraid others will see?"
Gu Fan dismissively answered, "Why worry? Everyone already knows. We are practically an old married couple."
"What old married couple? Talking nonsense." Lin Xi, amused, covered her mouth and laughed.
