Those Classmates who Suddenly Disappeared

As expected, Zhuo Hang arrived with a few colleagues. Once they arrived, they saw chaos, plenty of blood, and the aftereffects of an intense fight.

Zhuo Hang furrowed his eyebrows and demanded, "What on earth happened?"

Su Hui quickly stepped forward to explain, "We ran into the big boss which led to a fight. Probably he was retaliating against us. Luckily, some kind-hearted people helped us escape this near-fatal situation. You would have no idea how dangerous it was."

After hearing this, Zhuo Hang looked skeptical. He eyed Su Hui, who was trying to laugh it off, with doubt. Having known Su Hui for many years in his profession, he was sure she was hiding something from him.

Zhuo Hang instructed his colleagues to investigate the scene. He then looked sternly at Su Hui and reprimanded, "The twelve classmates of Gu Fan disappeared before, found later, and the report you wrote made no sense and yet it was approved. I want to know why."

"Have you read that report? It was average, not as nonsensical as you imply." Su Hui was quite embarrassed. The big boss had also attempted to cover up the truth, allowing Su Hui’s absurd report to pass. However, Zhuo Hang’s main task was not targeting Su Hui, so he didn’t scrutinize the report after reading it.

Now that the big boss’s power was essentially shattered, Zhuo Hang could really revisit and study the report. He wanted to know how these twelve classmates were found.

"Actually, I... I don’t know how to explain it to you," Su Hui said with a bitter smile, looking troubled, which irritated Zhuo Hang, "What do you mean by this, Su Hui? Are you still hiding something from me?"

In response, Gu Fan immediately stepped forward to mediate, "It is not that we want to hide something from you, but if we told you, no one would believe us. You would think we are insane."
