Lin Xi’s facial expression was focused entirely on her book, treating Gu Fan as if he was air. The situation was so awkward that Gu Fan felt extremely uncomfortable. Everybody knew they had broken up, so sitting together now seemed strange.
Class began, and while the professor was lecturing, Gu Fan was listening, but couldn’t help stealing glances at Lin Xi. He noticed that she was becoming more and more beautiful and learned in makeup. He guessed that by the time she graduated, she wouldn’t lose out to mature women like Su Hui and Leng Le.
While Lin Xi was listening attentively, she spoke up faintly, "Why aren’t you paying attention to the class? Why are you staring at me?"
Hearing this, Gu Fan felt embarrassed. Then, the peculiar glances from the people around him made him even more embarrassed. He could only whisper, "Well... I..."

This was utterly ridiculous, so Gu Fan quickly said, "I just have a couple of questions to ask you. Keep your voice down, be discreet."
"We’ve broken up. What do you still need to ask me? If you must know, the answer is– I don’t love you anymore." Lin Xi’s words were decisive. She showed an absolute lack of regret that left Gu Fan stunned. What was all this about?
