"So, we’re just going to stand by and watch Luo Jingrong walk away with the stuff and meet up with Lin Xi?" Hai sounded worried, fearing that they might not have time to stop them.
But Leng Le wasn’t concerned: "That might be for the best. Once they put the pieces together, we could take everything at once, saving us a lot of effort."
Hai didn’t share her optimism: "I’m afraid by then, Lin Xi might come up with some cunning plan, and we’ll never recover the complete blueprint."
"What’s the rush? Even if they get the complete blueprint, they still lack a few pieces," Leng Le seemed very confident, and instructed Hai to keep a close watch and act accordingly.
Soon, truckload after truckload of goods had been delivered to Luo Jingrong. Lin Xi, Du Changhui, and Du Jun arrived too. They were curious to see what the other half of the blueprint looked like.
For safety, Luo Jingrong arranged the meeting in a secret basement and secured ten trustworthy guards, each highly skilled, to ensure that anyone who tried to steal from them would fail.
