Chapter 163: A Familiar Feeling
After several days of studying, Gu Fan could finally rely on the weekend for a rest. He was neither a night owl nor one prone to wallowing in his bed in the morning. Upon awakening, he quickly checked his phone by his side and realized there wasn’t any call or message.
Throughout this period, Gu Fan lost count of the messages he sent and the calls he made. He waited countless times under Lin Xi’s apartment building, yet received no response.
Gu Fan could not believe that among those countless messages and calls, not one caught Lin Xi’s attention. If she had seen them, she should have known how anxious Gu Fan was.
Looking at the dialogue box filled with his own messages, Gu Fan chuckled at himself in self-mockery. He suddenly realized how desperately he was pleading for the entirely new Lin Xi to come back. Was he not willing to give up this relationship or was he still fantasizing about the all-new Lin Xi?
"Forget it, she’s already ignoring you, stop being foolish." Gu Fan sighed, feeling that he was the loser this time and his loss was total.
If it was the old Lin Xi, Gu Fan would naturally wait and see, but he saw little hope with this brand new Lin Xi. He felt discontent in his heart, everything was perfect, he did so many things, was it time to break up?
Getting up, brushing his teeth, washing his face, Gu Fan attempted to wake himself up. But no matter what he did, his mind was filled with memories of Lin Xi, scenes of laughter and joy, so pleasant, so real.
Just as Gu Fan was preparing breakfast, the doorbell suddenly rang. Gu Fan was curious as he wondered who would visit so early. Could it be Lu Yi? But Lu Yi had something to do today.
When Gu Fan opened the door, he was surprised to see Leng Le, in a bright smile and a dress, even waving hello.
"Sister Leng, why are you here?" Gu Fan was completely taken aback.
"I came to see my boyfriend and also brought you a little lovey-dovey breakfast." Having said this, Leng Le’s lips upturned into a smile, "Aren’t you going to invite me in?"
