After hearing this, Du Jun looked startled at first, fear evident in his eyes, but then he let out a dry laugh: "Gu Fan, what are you talking about? I don’t understand."
Maintaining a wry smile, Gu Fan replied: "Right, of course you wouldn’t acknowledge it. Are you going to tell me how you meticulously planned the disappearances of our twelve classmates one by one?"
Du Jun seemed quite irritated by this baseless accusation, "What the hell, Gu Fan, have you gone mad? Instead of facing our common enemy, you’re actually sowing discord among us."
"Because I believe that if we can’t weed out the traitor among us, our team will always be under threat." Gu Fan said, appearing decidedly earnest, as if he firmly believed Du Jun was the traitor.
However, Du Jun maintained his innocence: "You’re making baseless accusations. Maybe we’ve had our differences, but when did you, Gu Fan, become such a petty person?"
Gu Fan remained nonchalant, only giving a knowing smile: "I know you’ll deny it, so let’s start reconstructing everything that’s happened, one by one."
"Fine, I’d like to see how you can frame someone without evidence." Not believing that Gu Fan could prove his accusations, Du Jun responded defiantly.
"First, there was the trip. If we hadn’t gone touring, we wouldn’t have arrived at the old town, and you were the one who initiated the trip. Then there was the hike - nothing would have happened if we hadn’t gone hiking, and again, it was you who suggested hiking late in the night. Furthermore, you wouldn’t have discovered the secret room during the hike if you hadn’t wandered off. Considering all these points, I believe you’re questionable, as it seems like you led everyone to the secret room." Gu Fan continued.
Listening to this, Du Jun’s face darkened: "Are you insane, Gu Fan? Are you placing the blame for all the disappearances on me based on these groundless speculations?"
