Chai Tong left work early, and suddenly the atmosphere in the office improved markedly.

Everyone gathered around Huang Qiangmin and Jiang Yuan, saying pleasant courtesies and making the scene particularly comfortable.

Logically speaking, there were political commissioners and several deputy directors below Chai Tong, and Huang Qiangmin had only been promoted recently, ranking relatively low.

However, with Jiang Yuan’s strong support, and the impressive victory he had just secured, Huang Qiangmin now seemed very different in everyone’s eyes.

While laughing and chatting, they reflected on the case once again, and there were many sighs of emotion.

A deputy director lamented, "If it were not for Jiang Yuan, a case with one corpse and two felons would have been truly troublesome."

"The restaurant owner would have likely run away," Huang Qiangmin also commended, "Had this case been handed over to another county bureau, it would have required extensive publicity for months, but we’ve handled so many major cases that we haven’t had the time to publicize them."

"We do need to focus more on publicity," said the deputy director in charge of publicity, falling into deep contemplation.

"I think we can do segmented publicity," another deputy director said with a smile, "We can have one approach for domestic publicity, another for out-of-province, and even allocate some publicity resources for the ministry. It would be best if the leaders at the ministry could also see some of the work we are doing."

"That’s a tall order," immediately someone cast a sideways glance.
