Beyond that, there might have been some related persons inside and outside the case; some required just questioning, others needed to be arrested, but no matter what, the main body of the case was essentially completed. The continuation might last for another year or two, but maintaining the current scale and state of the special case squad was no longer necessary.
Back at the police station, Jiang Yuan first made some dog treats from minced meat and vegetables wrapped in breadcrumbs, each as hard as a bone and the size of a fist.
The minced meat was hand-chopped, with a high degree of stickiness, primarily using pork leg meat but also including a bit of shrimp, and finally an egg was mixed in, all in very deliberate proportions.
The dog treats were made slightly harder, but their flavor was in no way inferior, hitting just the right balance that dogs love.
Dazhuang was gnawing on the treats and drooling, so pleased that he nearly wanted to roll on the ground.
"The rest of the dog treats, you can have a maximum of three a day. You decide whether to use them as rewards or as a regular treat," Jiang Yuan said as he packed them into a food container about the size of a dog’s head, handing it over to Li Li.
Li Li quickly thanked him, took the container in her hands, hesitated for a moment, then opened the lid and sniffed.
Dazhuang hadn’t yet finished chewing the bone-shaped treat in his mouth, but his head was already nudging her way.
