Although these two items are excellent at defending against Thunder Skills, as Lady Xuanhua said, they are not without flaws:

Secondly, the Faraday cage itself has limitations:

Also, the conductivity of the metal determines how powerful a thunder strike it can withstand—in simple terms, it depends on whether there are enough free electrons in the metal to form a countershock field. This is why the Faraday cage is most effective when grounded since it can utilize the free electrons in the earth.
