After some thought, Andrew smiled and replied, "Of course."

"This way, please."

Under the guidance of the young woman, Andrew sat down in the sofa area outside the room. On another sofa sat a Beastman. Bald, fanged, twice Andrew’s size, his muscular frame clad in leather armor. He seemed to be waiting as well, though who knew for how long. Hugging a massive axe, he had already dozed off.

The surroundings were utter chaos, filled with endless chatter and moving staff handling all sorts of tasks, tirelessly busy. Andrew was the only one sitting quietly. Oh no, there was also the young woman at the desk in front of the room’s door, presumably the boss’s secretary. Whenever their eyes met, she would flash him a professional smile and politely nod at him.

"Is this what waiting for me looks like? I thought it’d be just for me," Andrew muttered to himself with a wry smile. "Someday, I’ll have people waiting outside the door for me too. The longer they wait, the better."

And just like that, he waited. After about half an hour, the door finally opened. Out came six to seven humans, led by a rather extravagantly dressed goblin.

Striding flamboyantly, the group passed by Andrew without so much as a glance, likely not noticing him at all.

"Captain Duru, it’s your turn. Please come in." The secretary walked up to Andrew and said.

"Shouldn’t it be his turn first? He arrived before me," Duru said, motioning to the Beastman still asleep next to him.

"Shh." Giving the Beastman a quick glance, the secretary raised her hand in a silencing gesture before saying softly, "You first. Please, come in."
