"Young Master Jones, what a coincidence. I didn’t expect to meet you here," Adolf said, walking over with a smile.
"Yeah, what a coincidence," Jones said, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly. "Did you use Adelle’s badge to get in too?"
"Adelle’s badge?" Adolf smiled and replied, "No, I’m actually a member here myself."
Well, of course. Turns out everyone here is loaded. It seemed like the whole world was a member except for him. Oh wait—his dad wasn’t one either.
Jones took a deep breath in resignation.
"Although, I just joined as a new member," Adolf spread his hands and continued, "Actually, I didn’t come here for anything urgent. I was just bored, so I came to have a look around and make some friends."
"You came here just to make friends?" Jones was momentarily stunned.
"Yes." Adolf turned slightly to glance at the direction of the table he was previously sitting at.
A fat vampire with a little mustache sitting by the table raised a teacup, nodded in Adolf’s direction from afar, then also nodded at Jones.
Jones gave him a nod in return, purely out of politeness.
