That night, upon returning home, Jones had already finished writing the letters. Because he was impatient, he wrote all the letters for everyone in one go.
"Will they lend the money to Lord Jones?" Dora muttered softly, "A hundred thousand Gold Coins is a huge amount. I heard that Miss Yilin’s entire annual income from the Beishier Duchy is only fifty thousand Gold Coins, and that’s not even deducting expenses."
"Whether they’ll lend it or not, isn’t that something we’ll only know if we ask? Anyway, just ask as many as possible—someone’s bound to lend it, right?" Jones replied expressionlessly.
Dora had no comment on that.
