Chapter 242 - 09: Brotherhood (3)_2
"The size difference is just too great. Relying purely on strength to win is obviously not realistic," Jones muttered to himself.
"Don’t worry, she’ll definitely win. How she’ll win, I don’t know, but she definitely will," Adelle shrugged beside him.
Sure enough, just as the werewolf was about to be pushed into a corner, she suddenly dodged and rolled to the side. The beast crashed solidly into the cage.
The sound of the impact echoed throughout the arena. The cage remained intact, but from the sound alone, one could tell how powerful the impact was.
Conne was momentarily stunned, then he began to chuckle, his laughter slightly wooden.
The fight continued.
The beast seemed dazed by the collision, shaking its head violently. The werewolf had already climbed onto its back at a rapid speed, raising one hand high. Under the firelight, Jones could clearly see the claws on her five fingers gleaming coldly.
With another low growl, the werewolf struck at the beast’s dry, cracked spine.
Jones couldn’t help but widen his eyes.
As a wave of excruciating pain hit, the beast went even more berserk, rampaging around the cage like a wild horse. The werewolf clung firmly to its back.
The spot where the werewolf struck peeled off a layer of skin, but unfortunately, the beast’s hide was so thick no blood could be seen. The two sides were stuck in a stalemate. The entire arena was filled with the beast’s furious roars.
