Just as the church had quietly shifted its strategy towards Gray, Gray, entirely unaware, continued his relentless pursuit of justice.
Benedict "smartly" hid inside the castle, trying to resist through defense.
Though Gray seemed a bit silly, he wasn’t stupid. In fact, the Lich race didn’t have any fools among them. The reason he appeared somewhat silly was merely a difference in perception.
After two failed assaults, Gray quickly recognized the reality: a frontal attack was definitely unwise. After all, the Silver Moon Knight Order’s identity was special, and not a single member could die or be captured, or else Gray’s Lich identity would surely be exposed.
Following the "Gray-style thinking," he adopted a new method—trying to "convert" them.
"Do you really think you can convert them?" Yilin was bewildered upon hearing this decision. It was the first time she had heard of someone trying to convert their opponents on the battlefield.
"Why not? Back in White City, I didn’t fight much. In the end, it was all through conversion." Gray said confidently, "Besides, as a Holy Knight, I ultimately need to learn preaching, right? This is a good opportunity; there are so many people for me to practice on."
"So you’re planning to... learn to preach on the battlefield?" Yilin still felt that something was off.
Shelley, on the other hand, was very supportive. In fact, she supported all of Gray’s decisions. Even if the decisions seemed extremely silly.
"I think this idea is simply fantastic! No matter how hard I tried before, I still couldn’t finish reading the Bible. Now I get sleepy whenever I see it. But the moment I think of you preaching, I’m immediately filled with interest in the Bible! Surely they will feel the same way!"
"Really?" Gray asked sincerely.
