Chapter 76 - 11: Audilet Grand Theater
The sky was dimly lit.
On the third day of arriving at Lion King City, after intensively accepting the King’s welcome ceremony and visiting Pearce Cathedral, Gray had two days of free time before the official enfeoffment ceremony.
In the early morning hours, the two little Blood Clan members had already sneaked back to rest.
Did you think Gray would start resting too?
No, Liches were perpetual motion machines. After charging up all night, he urgently needed to go out and practice knightly virtues!
"I think you’d better reconsider. After all, this isn’t White City. I don’t want to see you make a fool of yourself," advised the Black Cat by his ear.
"No, practice is the only criterion for testing truth! Just reading books is useless. Go out, and promote the holy faith!" urged the Demon.
"Although I don’t oppose, I always feel there’s something wrong with the Succubus supporting this," hesitated the Angel.
Gray vowed, "I think I should go out. No Holy Knight ever stays cooped up at home, right? Follow your heart. When I earnestly implement knightly virtues and the holy faith, whether right or wrong, that in itself is the best interpretation of faith! Mr. Priest said so. I can’t shrink back in fear of difficulties; otherwise, who will take on the responsibility of making the world a better place!"
Righteously, Catherine was finally swayed, "Alright, you’ve convinced me. I agree you should go out."
The Angel and Demon vanished, and the Black Cat crawled inside Gray’s armor. Preparations complete! A Lich, accompanied by a ghost, an Angel, and a Demon, was heading out to do good!
