"As long as he puts away the gold nugget, we report him for theft, then find the marked gold nugget on him!" Shelley and her suitors peered from the corner of the wall, all excited.
However, the next moment, their eyes almost fell out because Gray shouted to the child who dropped the gold nugget, "Hey! You dropped something!"
Instantly, all eyes were drawn to the scene.
The child was stunned, looked at Gray, then at the gold nugget, and immediately surrendered.
"It's not mine!"
"But I clearly saw it fall from you."
"How could such a small child have such a big gold nugget? It must be stolen, right?" People around started discussing.
"Alright, it's mine!" Frightened, the child grabbed the gold nugget and ran away.
The nearby tabloid reporter silently noted, "Baron Gray demonstrates honesty!"
"Hi, Shelley. Small world." Gray rode past Shelley on his horse, galloping away.
