Chapter 25 - 13: Heading to the White City
Early the next morning, everyone gathered to prepare for departure.
The team had more people than on the way here. Gray and Pas's Red Scorpion Mercenary Group joined, and a few more carriages were added to carry four coffins and the severely injured knights.
In addition, Count Caspar sent along a thousand-strong escort army, making for an impressive procession.
After a symbolic farewell ceremony by Count Caspar, the group set off.
The entire team was enveloped in an atmosphere of solemnity and seriousness. Every person was ready for the upcoming challenges. Except for Gray.
