Early in the morning, Lette brought Emily and the other two to a large manor.
Though this place wasn’t as prestigious as Lette’s, its sheer size was undeniably impressive.
Emily widened her eyes: "Wow! This place is almost like my family’s manor! To have such a huge, luxurious manor in the Holy City, this person’s status must be significant?"
"Yesterday, he was still one of the permanent council members of the Holy Temple Council, but since he resisted arrest when captured, he’s been locked up in the Black Iron Prison."
Lilith was taken aback: "Wait a minute, isn’t the Black Iron Prison only for prisoners with catastrophic levels?"
"Special approval."
Lette, with his hands behind his back, walked into the manor, and the butlers and servants all bowed and greeted respectfully. Yet, their trembling bodies betrayed their inner fear.
"When the Holy Rose Knights arrive later, have them stay here. In less than two days, I can have them all switch sides.
Meanwhile, I can gather some intelligence from them.
If they are unaware of Vanessa’s dealings with the Tower of Truth, then isolate them before they get caught up.
If they’re already complicit, then we’ll just handle them according to the law."
